Prolific’s Love Child: Boothify, The Social Photo Booth

Howdy y’all, Brett the intern here to share a Boothify update. Since I’m new to Prolific, let me tell you a little about myself. Although I started this post with the phrase ‘howdy y’all’, I am not from the south despite my love for Taylor Swift and flannel clothing. I was born on Staten Island and grew up in New Jersey (fist pump challenges are always welcome). I just graduated from Georgetown University in May where I majored in German and Theology. Now, you’re probably wondering how I ended up at Prolific Interactive and not at a German Monastery. Well, I love the startup culture and all things tech. When I was offered a chance to come in and help with Boothify, Prolific’s social photo booth, I couldn’t resist. I’ve only been here a week and a half, but so much has already happened.

Just last night, we brought Boothify to Vegas to the United States Bartender’s Guild “Most Imaginative Bartender” finals, which was sponsored by GQ and Bombay Sapphire (you can check out the photos here: This was a special event in that we tried out a new type of Boothify experience. Rather than using an actual booth, we tried a stand-and-repeat approach. Using a sleek, new stand, users got their picture taken like they were walking the red carpet. Our lonely office booth has now welcomed a new sibling: the Boothify stand. Make sure to watch out for it at our upcoming events!

As of right now, I’m focusing spreading the social photo booth love. In New York City, there is never a shortage of events, and I’m working on Boothify becoming a staple in every event’s arsenal. I’m glad to report that after a bunch of events under our belt, people are really loving it. We were featured in Mashable a few weeks ago as one of six companies who creatively use tablets (link: The phones in the office have been buzzing and we have some really amazing events scheduled for the future.

Boothify has taken its first steps and is now heading for a full on sprint. Don’t be surprised to see Boothify on Usain Bolt’s level in the next few months. Also, be on the lookout for some killer Boothify swag, which is on its way.

If anyone has any questions on Boothify, shoot me an email at I’d love to hear from you.
